What data this website handles, who processes it, and the rights you have.
Controller
Dania Raquel dos Santos Lima, Daradiant Interiors, Rua Vale de Cubas 7, 3100-373 Pombal, Portugal, hello@daradiant.com. Please send any request about your data to this address. A data protection officer is not legally required for a studio of this size and has not been appointed.
The project request form
The form on the home page asks for your name, email address, an optional telephone number for a callback, the service and location you are interested in, your budget, an optional timeline, and your message. It also sends the language of the page and the address of the page you sent it from. When you press send, your entries travel encrypted to TANO CORE, the client system that tano media runs for us as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. There your enquiry is stored as a contact in our studio’s account, and we are told about it by email. Before sending, your browser solves a small computing task that CORE uses to tell people from spam robots; nothing about you goes into it. We keep your enquiry and the correspondence that follows for as long as we need it to answer you and, where a project follows, for as long as commercial record-keeping requires. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form from misuse).
One field in the form is hidden from view, and only automated spam scripts ever fill it in. If it arrives with anything in it, CORE drops the message without storing it. If the form cannot reach CORE, it opens an email draft in your own mail programme instead, which you send yourself, and your data then reaches us as an ordinary email. Giving us your data is voluntary. No law and no contract requires it, and the only consequence of not giving it is that we cannot write back to you.
Please do not send special-category data (health, beliefs, and so on) through the form. If a plan or a photograph shows other people, send it only if you may share it.
Booking and paying for the 1:1 Design Call
The Design Call is booked through TANO CORE, which tano media runs for us as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, and paid through Stripe; the call itself takes place on Google Meet. Our page draws the booking calendar itself; the free times and the booking travel directly between your browser and core.tano.pt. When it loads, CORE's server receives your IP address and the usual technical data; CORE sets no cookies for this and loads nothing from other providers. Before sending, your browser solves a small calculation against spam programs; no information about you goes into it.
For the booking, CORE stores in our studio's account your name, email address, phone number (if requested or given), your note, the chosen time and your time zone, so that times appear in your local time. The appointment is added to Dania's Google Calendar with a Google Meet link, and CORE sends you the confirmation by email. If you agree to an early start when booking, CORE stores the wording of that consent as evidence.
You enter payment details on Stripe's payment page (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland); they reach neither us nor CORE, we only learn whether and when the payment was made, and refunds go the same way. Google Meet and Google Calendar are provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin. Stripe and Google may also process data outside the EU, based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep booking and payment records for as long as tax and commercial law requires. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and (c) (legal retention duties).
Visitor statistics
To see which pages are read and how visitors find us, we count visits with the statistics function of TANO CORE, run for us by tano media as a processor. It works without cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Your browser sends the address and title of the page, the page you came from, screen size, browser language, how long the page was visible and how far you scrolled, and clicks on email links and on links that leave this site. Your IP address is used only in memory, to look up the country and to form a code that changes every day, so that several pages in one visit count as one visit. It is never stored. We cannot recognise you on another day or on another website, and the statistics are not linked to your name. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can object at any time, see below.
Fonts
The Inter and Playfair Display typefaces are stored on our own server and delivered from this website like any other file here. Your browser makes no connection to Google or to any other font service to display this page. No data therefore reaches a third party for the typefaces, and no cookie is set for them.
Images
The photographs on this site come from two sources: our own project photography at Daradiant Interiors, and city and landscape photographs from Pexels, used under the free Pexels licence, which does not require attribution. Every image is a file on our own server. Your browser loads them from this website and never connects to Pexels or to any other image service, so neither your IP address nor any other data reaches an image provider, and no cookie is set.
A few of the city photographs show people at a distance, incidental to the view and not identifiable as individuals.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus) in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. For every page request the server logs the usual technical data (IP address, time, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system) to run the website securely and fend off attacks. These logs are kept only as long as needed for that and then deleted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recipients at a glance: tano media as operator of TANO CORE (form, booking, statistics, processor), the email service through which CORE sends confirmations and notifications (Brevo, Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France, as a sub-processor of tano media), Hostinger (hosting), Stripe (payment) and Google (Calendar and Meet). We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising.
Cookies, storage and tracking
We set no advertising cookies and run no pixels and no profiling; the visitor statistics described above work without cookies. This site stores one sessionStorage entry in your browser and nothing else. ddIntroSeen remembers that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every page. It holds a single marker, says nothing about you, and disappears when you close the tab.
That entry is technically necessary to deliver the site the way you asked for it, so it needs no separate consent: article 5(3) of the Portuguese Law no. 41/2004 and, for visitors from Germany, § 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG.
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling in the sense of Art. 22 GDPR. Every reply you get from us is written by a person.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. Email hello@daradiant.com and we will answer. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in Portugal the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), and in Germany the data protection authority of the federal state you live in.
Your right to object
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of your data that rests on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. On this site that means the server logs, the visitor statistics and our interest in answering enquiries. Write to hello@daradiant.com, and we will stop processing that data unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
